Join us for our next Refugee Supper Club, where we’ll be welcomed into the vibrant culinary traditions of Haiti by a talented refugee chef. These intimate gatherings are a chance to share food, stories, and connection — building bridges across cultures through the joy of cooking together.

About the Chef:

Maritza is originally from Port-au-Prince, and brings deep pride and bold flavor to her cooking. Her signature dish, ragou — a rich meat stew often served with fried plantains and pikliz — is a staple at Haitian gatherings.

In her words, “Ragou is the real vibe — perfect for any occasion. Back home, you pair it with beer, laughter, and people you love.” For Maritza, ragou is joy on a plate — unforgettable, generous, and always meant to be shared.
